  • 1 cup (200ml) White Wine or Soju
  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 10 whole Peppercorns
  • 1 cup (200ml) Water

Cooking Instructions

Begin by peeling the pears and placing them whole into a pot. Add the white wine (or soju), cinnamon powder, whole peppercorns, and water. Cover the pot with a lid, bring it to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer gently for about 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the pears to become very tender.

Once the pears have simmered, let the entire pot cool down completely. Once cooled, transfer it to the refrigerator and chill thoroughly. Before serving, cut the pears in half and arrange them in serving bowls, pouring the flavorful broth over them.
