Soft Crab Stick Bibimbap for Kids
Easy Recipe for Toddler Crab Stick Bibimbap
Here’s a recipe for a mild and tender crab stick bibimbap, perfect for young children. Prepare a nutritious meal with simple ingredients.
Main Ingredients- 1 crab stick (shredded)
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp shredded seaweed (gim)
- 100g cooked rice
- 0.5 Tbsp sesame oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Let’s make a delicious crab stick bibimbap for your child! First, heat a frying pan over medium-low heat. Lightly grease the pan with a paper towel dipped in cooking oil; this prevents sticking and ensures a nice finish. Then, crack 1 egg into the pan.
Step 2
Whisk the egg with a fork or chopsticks, then gently stir it while cooking to make a soft scrambled egg. Avoid overcooking it; keeping it moist is best for your child. Once done, set the scrambled egg aside in a separate bowl.
Step 3
Now, prepare a bowl for the bibimbap. Place 100g of warm cooked rice neatly into the bowl. Next, take the main ingredient, 1 crab stick. Shred it thinly along its natural lines and arrange it attractively over the rice. Shredding it into bite-sized pieces will make it easier for your child to eat.
Step 4
In one of the empty spaces on the side of the bowl with the rice and crab stick, add about 1 tablespoon of shredded seaweed (gim). Placing the seaweed separately prevents it from getting soggy with saliva or mixing too early with the rice, preserving its texture when eaten.
Step 5
Finally, place the soft scrambled egg you prepared earlier next to the shredded seaweed in the remaining empty space. The vibrant colors will make the dish visually appealing and capture your child’s interest.
Step 6
Once all the ingredients are beautifully arranged, drizzle about 0.5 tablespoon of sesame oil over the top for a nutty aroma. This completes the dish! By focusing on the natural flavors of the ingredients without adding extra seasoning, you’re offering a healthy and tasty meal. Encouraging your child to mix it themselves before eating can also be a fun learning experience.
