Rice Ingredients- 4 eggs
- 1/2 carrot
- 1/2 onion
- 300g ham
- Scallions or green onions, for garnish

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash and prepare all the ingredients for the rice. Finely dice the carrot and onion. Dice the ham into bite-sized pieces. If using scallions or green onions, chop them finely.

Heat a pan over medium heat and add the diced ham. Sauté until it’s lightly browned and slightly crispy. The ham will release some delicious fat.

After sautéing the ham for about 3 minutes, add the diced carrots and onions to the pan. Continue to stir-fry until the onions become translucent and slightly golden. Cooking the vegetables thoroughly brings out their natural sweetness.

Now, let’s make the omurice sauce that brings all the flavors together! Add soy sauce (3 Tbsp), sugar (2 Tbsp), ketchup (5 Tbsp), and minced garlic (1 Tbsp) directly to the pan with the vegetables. Stir well to combine and let it cook for a minute until fragrant.

Once the sauce is well combined with the ingredients, add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt. The butter adds a wonderful richness. Finish with a pinch of black pepper for extra aroma and flavor.
