- 1 slice bread
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
For a single serving, I’ve used half a slice of bread, cut from one slice. If you prefer a larger sandwich, feel free to use two full slices of bread and double the amount of cheddar cheese. Adjust the quantities to your liking!

Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat without any oil. Place the bread slice, cheese-side down, onto the hot pan and toast until lightly golden. Once it reaches a nice color,

Quickly flip the bread over. It’s time to add the cheese!

Immediately place the cheddar cheese slice onto the toasted side of the bread.

Cover the cheese with the other slice of bread to form the sandwich. Now we’ll press it to cook.

Gently press down on the sandwich with a spatula while flipping it back and forth. This helps to ensure even browning and melting of the cheese.

Finally, cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat to low for a minute or two. This steaming effect will perfectly melt the cheese, making the inside wonderfully gooey and delicious.
