Ingredients
  • 4 medium-sized potatoes
  • Water (enough to cover the potatoes)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp stevia (or 1 tsp sugar)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Start by peeling the potatoes. Since they are fresh new potatoes, the skins should come off quite easily.

Step 2

Pour fresh water into the pot, ensuring it’s enough to completely submerge the potatoes.

Step 3

Add 1/2 teaspoon of stevia for a touch of sweetness. If you prefer to use sugar, substitute it with 1 teaspoon of sugar. This will add a subtle sweetness that enhances the potatoes’ natural flavor.

Step 4

Add about 1/2 teaspoon of salt for flavor enhancement. Be careful not to add too much; you want a balanced taste.

Step 5

Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and let the potatoes steam until they are completely tender.

Step 6

Test for doneness by piercing a potato with a fork or skewer; it should go in easily. If there’s a lot of water remaining in the pot, carefully tilt the pot and drain it off.

Step 7

Once the water has mostly evaporated and the potatoes are tender, gently shake the pot a few times. This action will cause the potatoes to lightly tumble against each other, enhancing their fluffy, powdery texture.

Step 8

Serve the warm, fluffy potatoes on a plate. They are delicious on their own, but for an extra special treat, consider topping them with a sprinkle of cheese powder or a dollop of butter. They’ll be a dish no one can resist!
