Super Easy! Delicious Rose Sausage Spaghetti Using a Store-Bought Sauce
No problem even on busy days! Store-bought rose sauce and bursting sausages come together to create a wonderful meal. Enjoy a simple yet rich flavor.
Essential Ingredients- Spaghetti (1 serving)
- Vienna sausages (5 pieces)
- Bell pepper (approx. 1/4, any color you like)
- Whole garlic cloves (3)
- Cheddar cheese slice (1)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare your ingredients. Make 2-3 shallow cuts on the Vienna sausages; this helps the sauce penetrate better and makes them look nicer. Chop the bell pepper into bite-sized pieces after removing the seeds. Slice the whole garlic cloves thinly.
Step 2
Bring a generous pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt if desired, and then add the spaghetti. It’s best to cook it ‘al dente,’ about 1-2 minutes less than the package instructions suggest. When the pasta is almost done (about 8-9 minutes after adding it), add the prepared Vienna sausages and cook for another 1-2 minutes together.
Step 3
While the pasta is cooking, heat a frying pan with olive oil (or cooking oil) over medium-low heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté slowly until it turns golden brown. This slow cooking enhances the garlic’s flavor.
Step 4
Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain the water. Return the pasta to the pan with the sautéed garlic. Now it’s time for the sauce. Add 3 tablespoons of black bean broth (or milk), 1 slice of cheddar cheese, the chopped bell pepper, and the rose spaghetti sauce according to your desired consistency and amount. (If you don’t have black bean broth, using milk will also result in a creamy and delicious sauce!).
Step 5
Toss everything together over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, ensuring the sauce coats the pasta and ingredients evenly. Once the sauce is well combined with the spaghetti, turn off the heat. Serve in a nice bowl. You can add a sprinkle of parsley flakes or black pepper for extra flair if you like.
