Ingredients
- 200g Cheol Sundae (Korean blood sausage)
- 1/3 Onion
- 8 Perilla leaves
- 2 Tbsp Cooking oil
- 1-2 Tbsp Perilla powder
- 2 Pinches Salt
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the ingredients. Slice the 200g of Cheol Sundae into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 1.5 cm thick. Thinly slice the 1/3 onion. Wash the 8 perilla leaves, pat them dry, and cut them into 2-3 pieces.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium heat and add 2 Tbsp of cooking oil. Add the sliced onion and sundae. Sprinkle with 1 pinch of salt and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until the sundae is lightly cooked and the onion starts to turn translucent.
Step 3
Once the sundae and onion are partially cooked, add the cut perilla leaves to the pan. Continue to stir-fry for another 30 seconds, just until the perilla leaves wilt slightly and release their fragrance. Add the remaining pinch of salt at this stage to season.
Step 4
Finally, generously sprinkle 1-2 Tbsp of perilla powder over the ingredients. Stir everything together well and cook for an additional 1 minute, ensuring the perilla powder coats the sundae and vegetables evenly. Your delicious white sundae stir-fry is now ready to enjoy!
