A Healthy Diet Rice Bowl Featuring Silken Tofu and Eggs
Move over, restrictive dieting! This is a recipe for a simple and easy-to-eat meal perfect for those on a healthy diet. It’s quick, nutritious, and incredibly satisfying.
Main Ingredients- 1-2 Eggs
- 1/2 block Silken Tofu
- A little Green Onion (chopped)
Seasoning- 0.5 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 0.5 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 0.5 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 0.5 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare all the ingredients for the recipe. Have 1 or 2 eggs ready, along with half a block of silken tofu, some chopped green onions, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and measure out the olive oil.
Step 2
Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add 0.5 Tbsp of olive oil. Add the chopped green onions and sauté until fragrant, creating a flavorful scallion oil. Be careful not to burn the onions; gently cooking them will enhance their taste.
Step 3
Once the green onions are slightly softened and their aroma is released, crack the 1-2 prepared eggs into the pan. Let the eggs cook undisturbed until the edges start to turn white, then gently scramble them.
Step 4
When the eggs are about 70% cooked, add the 1/2 block of silken tofu. You can add it in larger chunks or gently break it apart as you stir. Continue to cook together, allowing the soft tofu and creamy eggs to meld.
Step 5
Once the eggs and tofu are well combined and cooking through, drizzle 0.5 Tbsp of oyster sauce evenly over the mixture. The oyster sauce adds a wonderful savory depth, making it delicious without needing extra seasoning.
Step 6
Continue cooking until most of the moisture from the tofu has evaporated and the ingredients are well incorporated. Turn off the heat.
