Simple Dinosaur Chicken Burger
Easy Chicken Burger Recipe Using Morning Rolls and Dinosaur Chicken
Quickly and easily make a delightful morning roll chicken burger using dinosaur chicken or chicken nuggets from your freezer! It’s perfect for a kids’ snack or a simple meal. The crispy chicken combined with fresh vegetables offers both delicious flavor and good nutrition.
Ingredients (Serves 1)- 2 Morning rolls
- 4 pieces Dinosaur chicken (or chicken nuggets)
- A handful of fresh salad greens or lettuce
- 0.5 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- Mustard sauce to taste
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, line your air fryer basket with parchment paper. Place 4 pieces of frozen dinosaur chicken onto the paper. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy. (Adjust cooking time based on the size and thickness of your chicken.)
Step 2
Wash the lettuce or salad greens thoroughly under running water. To ensure the bun doesn’t get soggy, use a salad spinner to remove excess water, or gently pat them dry with paper towels.
Step 3
Slice the morning rolls in half horizontally, just like a hamburger bun. If the buns are too thick, it can be difficult to fit all the fillings, so aim for a moderate thickness.
Step 4
Using a spoon or a knife, spread 0.5 tablespoon of mayonnaise evenly over the cut side of each morning roll half. The mayonnaise adds a creamy richness to the bread.
Step 5
On top of the mayonnaise-smeared roll, tear the washed lettuce or salad greens into bite-sized pieces and pile them generously. The crisp texture adds a wonderful contrast to the burger.
Step 6
Place 2 pieces of the crispy air-fried dinosaur chicken on top of the lettuce. Arrange them nicely to fit within the bun, making it easy for children to eat.
Step 7
Drizzle mustard sauce over the chicken in a zigzag pattern, according to your preference. The tangy flavor of the mustard cuts through any richness and enhances the overall taste.
Step 8
Finally, place the top half of the morning roll onto the burger to complete your delicious dinosaur chicken burger! It’s a fantastic snack for kids or a simple brunch option. You can also use regular chicken nuggets instead of dinosaur chicken for a similar, delightful taste. Enjoy your homemade burger!
