First, to perfectly hard-boil the eggs, fill a pot with enough water to cover the eggs. Add 1/2 tsp of salt to the water to prevent the eggs from cracking during boiling.

Furthermore, add about 1 tsp of vinegar to the boiling water; this helps make the eggshells easier to peel.
