Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 4 Tbsp instant curry (store-bought)
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 1 piece of butter (about 10g)
  • Pinch of black pepper (to taste)
  • Pinch of dried parsley (for garnish)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, melt a piece of butter in a frying pan over low heat. Once the butter has melted, place the 2 slices of bread in the pan and toast them until golden brown on both sides. Be careful not to burn the bread by managing the heat. Crispy golden-brown toast adds wonderful flavor.

Step 1

Step 2

Spread 4 tablespoons of instant curry evenly over one side of the toasted bread. It’s best to use a moderate amount, as too much can make it feel greasy. Ensure the curry is spread thoroughly to infuse its aroma into the bread.

Step 2

Step 3

Next, place 2 slices of cheese attractively on top of the curry-spread bread. The melting cheese will help bind the curry and bread together and provide a wonderfully gooey texture. Feel free to adjust the amount of cheese according to your preference.

Step 3

Step 4

Now, it’s time to use the microwave. Place the toast with cheese into the microwave and heat for about 1 minute. It’s ready once the cheese is melted and bubbly. Avoid microwaving for too long, as this can make the bread tough. Stick to the recommended time.

Step 4

Step 5

Finally, lightly sprinkle some black pepper over the finished curry cheese toast, according to your taste. The peppery kick will further enhance the curry’s flavor. A sprinkle of dried parsley for garnish will complete this visually appealing and delicious curry cheese toast! It’s best enjoyed while warm.
