Ingredients- 6 slices of bread (your favorite kind)
- 3 fresh eggs
- Assorted fresh vegetables (lettuce, romaine, baby greens, etc.)
- 1 apple
- 3 slices of cheese
- A little cream cheese (or your favorite jam)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Lightly toast the bread slices until they are slightly golden brown, either using a toaster or by placing them in a dry, non-stick pan over medium heat. Toasting adds a wonderful crisp texture.
Step 2
Prepare the eggs by frying them sunny-side up or to your preference. A slightly runny yolk can add a lovely richness to the sandwich.
Step 3
Wash the apple thoroughly, preferably using baking soda to remove any residue, and then thinly slice it, keeping the skin on for added texture and nutrients. Core the apple before slicing.

Spread a thin, even layer of cream cheese on one side of the toasted bread slices. If you prefer, you can substitute cream cheese with your favorite fruit jam for a different sweet flavor.
