Super Simple Seaweed Oatmeal Porridge Recipe / For Singles, Dieters, and Those Suffering from Constipation
Here’s an easy and healthy recipe! This video is for singles, dieters, and anyone suffering from constipation. Too lazy to rehydrate seaweed? Don’t want to chop anything? Make this super simple seaweed oatmeal porridge! It’s gentle on your stomach and helps with regularity.
Ingredients- Dried seaweed 5g
- Oatmeal 4 Tbsp (approx. 40g)
- 1 Egg
- Salt 4 pinches (adjust to taste)
- A little sesame oil
- 300ml Water (250ml + 50ml)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare 5g of dried seaweed. (No need to soak it beforehand, you can use it directly!)
Step 2
Measure and prepare 4 tablespoons (about 40g) of oatmeal.
Step 3
Pour 250ml of water into a pot, and add the prepared seaweed and oatmeal.
Step 4
Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir occasionally to prevent the oatmeal from clumping.
Step 5
Once the porridge starts boiling, add an additional 50ml of water and simmer for a bit longer to achieve your desired consistency.
Step 6
If the rehydrated seaweed pieces are large in the pot, cut them into bite-sized pieces with a spatula or scissors. (If added directly without soaking, they will break down easily during cooking!)
Step 7
Crack 1 egg into a separate bowl and whisk it well.
Step 8
Slowly drizzle the whisked egg into the boiling porridge without stirring, and let it cook for a moment. Once the egg is set, gently stir to combine. Add 4 pinches of salt, taste, and add more salt if needed to suit your preference.
Step 9
Turn off the heat and drizzle in a little sesame oil for added flavor.
Step 10
Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired, for a finishing touch. (Optional)
Step 11
Enjoy your comforting and satisfying seaweed oatmeal porridge!
