  • 3 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp corn syrup (or rice syrup)
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Prepare the Sea Pineapple: Start by preparing the sea pineapples. Make a small slit at the pointed end of each sea pineapple. Then, gently cut it in half. This should help the sea pineapple flesh release easily. Carefully pry the flesh away from the shell.

Clean and Cut the Sea Pineapple: If the sea pineapple pieces are too large, cut them into bite-sized portions. Rinse them gently under cold running water and pat them dry. Set aside.
