Main Ingredients- 1 pack Oyster mushrooms
- 1/3 Carrot
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 handful Broccoli
- 2 Imitation crab sticks (surimi)

- 0.3 tsp Salt (adjust to taste)
- 0.5 tsp Minced garlic
- 0.5 tsp Oyster sauce (optional, can be omitted)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash the oyster mushrooms under running water to remove any debris. Trim them into bite-sized pieces. Avoid tearing them too small, as this can affect the texture. Set them aside.

Peel the carrot and slice it into thin matchsticks. Peel and slice the onion into similar-sized matchsticks. Cut the broccoli into florets and slice the imitation crab sticks into strips of similar length. This preparation ensures all ingredients cook evenly and blend harmoniously.
Step 3
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the prepared oyster mushrooms and blanch them briefly. Once the water returns to a boil, immediately turn off the heat. Drain the mushrooms and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process (‘shower’ them). Drain thoroughly in a colander to remove excess moisture. This step helps maintain the mushrooms’ chewy texture.
Step 4
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the sliced carrots first and stir-fry until they start to become slightly translucent. This process helps bring out the natural sweetness of the carrots.
Step 5
Once the carrots are partially cooked, add the broccoli, onion, imitation crab sticks, and the drained oyster mushrooms to the skillet. Stir-fry everything together, ensuring it’s well combined. Season with salt as you stir-fry. Just before finishing, drizzle in the sesame oil for added aroma and sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish. If using oyster sauce, reduce the salt accordingly and add the oyster sauce for an extra layer of umami.
