Ingredients

  • Scone mix 120g
  • Cold water 60ml
  • Seoul Milk Emmental Cheese 2 slices
  • Dried fruit, a little (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all your ingredients beforehand. Accurate measurements are key for successful baking.

Step 1

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the scone mix (120g). Pour in the cold water (60ml). Using a spatula or fork, gently mix until just combined and no dry flour remains. Be careful not to overmix, as this can develop the gluten and result in tough scones.

Step 2

Step 3

Once the mixture starts to come together into a dough, finely chop the 2 slices of Seoul Milk Emmental Cheese and add them to the bowl. Gently fold the cheese into the dough, ensuring it’s evenly distributed. The distinct nutty and rich flavor of Emmental cheese will elevate your scones.

Step 3

Step 4

If desired, add a small amount of dried fruit (like cranberries or raisins) for extra texture and flavor. Gently mix these into the dough as well.

Step 4

Step 5

Divide the dough into your desired portions and shape them into flat discs. It’s best to make them slightly thick to prevent crumbling. Place the shaped scones into a preheated air fryer set to 180°C (350°F) and bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Baking times may vary depending on your air fryer model.

Step 5

Step 6

Enjoy your delicious cheese scones immediately while they are still warm! They are perfect paired with a hot cup of coffee or tea.
