To the creamed butter, add 150g of bread flour and 130g of cake flour, sifting them in for a lighter texture. Next, incorporate 1 large egg, 100ml of water, 20g of sugar, and 3g of salt. Using a spatula, mix everything together until it just forms a cohesive dough. Be careful not to overmix at this stage.

We’ll be using 3 packets of seasoned gim (seaweed snacks) for this recipe. Carefully empty all three packets into a plastic bag. Use your hands to crumble the gim into small pieces until it resembles coarse crumbs. This step ensures the savory flavor of the gim is evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Now, add the crumbled seasoned gim and 2 teaspoons of roasted sesame seeds to the dough you prepared earlier. Gently mix these ingredients into the dough until they are well incorporated. Ensure the gim and sesame seeds are evenly spread.
