How to Make Sausage and Vegetable Pancake – A Delicious Sausage Dish for Picky Eaters

Today, we’ve made a delightful sausage and vegetable pancake using leftover vegetables and sausages. It’s a fantastic way to get kids to eat their veggies!

Main Ingredients
  • Sausage: 150 – 200g (choose your favorite kind)
  • Green Onion: 1/2 stalk
  • Eggs: 4
  • Carrot: A small amount (finely chopped)
  • Enoki Mushrooms: 1/2 package
  • Salt: A pinch
  • Pepper: A pinch

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare all your ingredients. Finely chop the sausage into bite-sized pieces. Trim the root end of the enoki mushrooms and cut them into 2-3 cm lengths. Mince the green onion and carrot finely. Place all the prepared vegetables and sausage into a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Crack the 4 eggs into the bowl with the vegetables and sausage. Add a pinch of pepper. Season with salt to taste. Using chopsticks or a whisk, mix everything thoroughly until well combined. Ensure there are no lumps and the mixture is smooth.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat and add a generous amount of cooking oil. Ladle portions of the batter into the pan, forming pancakes of your desired size. Cook until golden brown and set on one side, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown. This completes your delicious sausage and vegetable pancake!

Step 4

These sausage and vegetable pancakes are best enjoyed warm! For an extra delicious touch that kids love, drizzle with a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise (equal parts). This sweet and savory sauce really enhances the flavor of the pancake. My son agrees it’s much tastier with the sauce!
