Rich Steak Cream Pasta
Homemade Creamy Steak Pasta with Soy Milk 🙂
A delicious cream pasta made with leftover steak and soy milk!
Ingredients
- Beef steak 200g
- Pasta for 2 servings
- 1 onion (small)
- 1/2 Tbsp salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- Pinch of parsley flakes
- 1-2 slices processed cheese
- 200g soy milk
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cook the steak. Heat a pan with a drizzle of olive oil and sear the steak until nicely browned on both sides. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces as you cook it. I cut mine into cubes.
Step 2
While the steak is cooking, boil the pasta. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, checking for doneness. You can adjust the cooking time based on your preference for al dente or softer pasta.
Step 3
Once the steak is cooked, add the sliced onions to the same pan and sauté until golden brown and softened.
Step 4
Add the sautéed onions and steak to the cooked pasta. I added 1/2 Tbsp of salt for seasoning. Adjust the salt to your taste.
Step 5
Finally, pour in the soy milk and add the slices of cheese. Stir gently and cook until the cheese has melted, about 2-3 minutes. This will create a creamy sauce.
Step 6
Finish by sprinkling with black pepper and parsley flakes for a beautiful presentation and enhanced flavor.
