Ingredients
  • Earl Grey (Black Tea) 10g
  • Water 300ml
  • Almond Milk 250ml
  • Syrup (sugar syrup, maple syrup, etc.) 2-3 Tbsp (adjust to taste)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare 10g of Earl Grey tea leaves (or tea bags). Bring 300ml of water to a boil, then add the tea leaves and steep for about 2-3 minutes to create a strong brew. Be careful not to over-steep, as this can result in a bitter taste. Set the brewed tea aside in a cup or teapot.

Step 2

Gently pour 250ml of almond milk into the concentrated brewed tea. Feel free to substitute with your preferred plant-based milk, such as regular milk, oat milk, or soy milk.

Step 3

Now, pour the mixture of tea and almond milk into a saucepan or pot. Heat over medium-low heat. As soon as small bubbles start to appear around the edges, turn off the heat. Cover the pot and let it sit for about 3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.

Step 4

After 3 minutes, carefully strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any tea leaves or sediment. This step ensures a smooth and clean latte texture.

Step 5

Finally, stir in 2-3 tablespoons of syrup according to your preference. Add more for a sweeter taste or less (or omit entirely) if you prefer a less sweet beverage. Stir well to combine. Serve warm or chilled. For a refreshing summer drink, enjoy it over ice!
