Ingredients

  • 3 small scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 1 to 2 shots of espresso (adjust to your preference)
  • Ice (filling about 2/3 of the glass)
  • 100ml to 150ml of milk
  • A pinch of cinnamon powder (optional)
  • A pinch of cocoa powder (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Start by filling your serving glass about two-thirds full with ice. Leave some space at the top, as you’ll be adding ice cream later.

Step 1

Step 2

Pour in 100ml to 150ml of milk. I used about 100ml, but you can adjust this based on the strength of your espresso and your personal preference. If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, use less milk; for a creamier taste, use more.

Step 2

Step 3

Add 1 shot of espresso. If you enjoy a bolder coffee flavor, feel free to add a second shot. At this point, you have a lovely café latte! For those who love extra sweetness, a little vanilla syrup can be added here to enhance the sweet latte experience. ^^

Step 3

Step 4

Now for the star of the show! Gently place 3 small scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of the coffee mixture. Using a small scoop, like one used for rice, is perfect here. The ice cream will slowly melt, creating a wonderfully rich and smooth texture with the coffee.

Step 4

Step 5

Finally, dust a pinch of cinnamon powder and cocoa powder over the ice cream. This adds a lovely aromatic touch and a hint of pleasant bitterness that complements the sweetness. If you don’t have these powders, don’t worry, you can skip this step. Enjoy your delicious, homemade Summer Latte!
