Its bright, zesty flavor makes it perfect for a light breakfast or a simple lunch. You’ll find it disappears in the blink of an eye as a delightful evening snack, thanks to its magical taste! It’s wonderfully versatile, pairing beautifully with fresh vegetables, crackers, or toasted bread.
Main Ingredients- 3 Tbsp Cream Cheese (softened at room temperature)
- 3 Tbsp Plain Greek Yogurt
- 2 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 handful Spinach (blanched and squeezed dry)
- Pinch of Black Pepper (to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare your fresh spinach. Take a handful and blanch it in boiling water for about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to overcook it, as this can make the texture mushy.
Step 2
Immediately after blanching, rinse the spinach under cold water to cool it down. Gently squeeze out as much water as possible using your hands. Then, finely chop the spinach into approximately 2cm pieces. This step ensures your dip won’t become watery.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese (3 Tbsp) and plain Greek yogurt (3 Tbsp). Add the fresh lemon juice (2 Tbsp), maple syrup (1 Tbsp), and the prepared chopped spinach. Finally, season with a pinch of black pepper, if desired. Mix everything together gently with a spatula or fork until well combined. Your delicious spinach cream cheese dip is now ready to enjoy!
