Introducing a fantastic salad pizza, perfect as a special brunch menu for any day! The combination of fresh vegetables and gooey, melted cheese is simply divine. It’s easy to make at home, making it an ideal choice for home cafe treats or kids’ snacks. Top a thin, crispy crust with crisp vegetables and flavorful toppings for a delightful meal!
Essential Ingredients
- 1 Pizza thin crust (can substitute with a tortilla)
- 2 Tbsp Tomato sauce
- 100g Mozzarella cheese (adjust to taste)
- 1 Frank sausage
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare your pizza thin crust (if using a tortilla, lightly toasting it beforehand can be nice). Spread the tangy tomato sauce evenly over the crust. Be careful not to use too much sauce, as it can make the crust soggy; a thin layer is best.
Step 2
Arrange the thinly sliced frank sausage over the tomato sauce, then generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese to cover everything. The melting cheese will bind all the delicious ingredients together.
Step 3
Place the pizza in a preheated oven at 375-400°F (190-200°C) for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and melted. Adjust the baking time according to your oven’s specifications. If you don’t have an oven, you can cook it in a pan over low heat with a lid on until the cheese melts.
Step 4
While the pizza is baking, prepare your fresh salad ingredients. Halve the cherry tomatoes, and thinly shred the bell pepper and cabbage. Use the sprout vegetables as they are. The freshness of the vegetables is key to the flavor of the salad pizza, so choose the freshest ones available.
Step 5
Once the pizza is perfectly baked, carefully remove it from the oven. While it’s still warm, artfully arrange the prepared vegetables on top. Drizzle with refreshing balsamic dressing in a zigzag pattern, and finish with a sprinkle of flavorful grated Parmesan cheese. Your delicious salad pizza is ready! It tastes best when enjoyed immediately while warm.
