Main Ingredients- 200g Mixed Seaweed
- 1/2 Onion
- 30g Carrot
Sweet and Tangy Dressing- 2 Tbsp Water
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- 3 Tbsp Plum Extract
- 5 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 1/2 Tbsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Water
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- 3 Tbsp Plum Extract
- 5 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 1/2 Tbsp Salt
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the mixed seaweed thoroughly under running water 2-3 times. Then, soak the rinsed seaweed in cold water for about 10 minutes to gently remove its saltiness. After 10 minutes, drain well in a colander to remove excess water.
Step 2
While the seaweed is soaking, thinly julienne the onion. Wash and thinly julienne the carrot as well. Cutting the vegetables to a similar thickness will ensure the dressing is evenly distributed and provide a pleasant texture.
Step 3
In a small bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients: water, sugar, plum extract, vinegar, minced garlic, toasted sesame seeds, and salt. Mix them well to create the sweet and tangy dressing. You can adjust the sugar and salt to your preference.
Step 4
Place the well-drained mixed seaweed and the julienned vegetables into a large mixing bowl. Pour the prepared dressing over them. Gently mix everything together with your hands until well combined. Your delicious mixed seaweed salad is now ready to be enjoyed! Taste and add a little more salt if needed.
