Ingredients

  • 1 fresh lemon
  • 10g apple mint
  • 100ml water
  • 200g ice cubes

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Start by preparing your fresh lemon. Wash it thoroughly, then gently roll it on a countertop to help release more juice. Afterward, cut the lemon in half.

Step 1

Step 2

Squeeze the juice from the lemon halves. You can use a citrus juicer or do this by hand. Aim to get about 2-3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, being careful to strain out any seeds.

Step 2

Step 3

Rinse the apple mint leaves under cool running water to remove any dirt or debris. Gently pat them dry. The fresh mint aroma will significantly enhance the drink’s flavor profile.

Step 3

Step 4

Measure out 100ml of cold water. Using chilled water is key to achieving the best refreshing taste, so avoid room-temperature water.

Step 4

Step 5

Prepare 200g of ice cubes. These will be used in the blender to give the drink its wonderfully cool consistency.

Step 5

Step 6

Now, it’s time to combine everything in a blender. Add the fresh lemon juice, rinsed apple mint, cold water, and ice cubes to your blender. Blend for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the mixture is smooth and well-combined. Be careful not to over-blend, as this can sometimes release a bitter flavor from the mint. Pour immediately and enjoy your revitalizing Lemon Nana!
