Refreshing Homemade Lemon Blueberry Juice
A Healthy and Delicious Lemon Blueberry Juice Recipe
I made this juice at home using lemons and blueberries I had on hand. It’s so easy that anyone can make it, so why not give it a try? Enjoy a burst of vibrant flavor!
Ingredients- 1 Lemon (thoroughly washed)
- 1/2 cup Blueberries (measured with a standard mug, approx. 100g)
- 1 cup Water (approx. 200ml, adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, it’s important to wash the lemon peel thoroughly. Place the lemon in a bowl, sprinkle with 1-2 teaspoons of baking soda, and gently rub for about 2 minutes. This helps remove any residual pesticides or impurities from the peel.
Step 2
Rinse the lemon under running water after washing with baking soda. Then, rub the lemon peel with coarse salt. The abrasive action of the salt helps remove waxy coatings or oils, ensuring a cleaner lemon for your juice.
Step 3
Trim off the ends of the cleaned lemon and cut it into 4 equal wedges. If there are seeds, you can carefully remove them with a knife for a smoother juice. The number of wedges can be adjusted based on the lemon’s size and your preference.
Step 4
Now, get your blender ready! Measure about half a mug’s worth of blueberries and add them to the blender. You can use frozen or fresh blueberries – both will yield a delicious result.
Step 5
Pour in about 2/3 of a mug of water into the blender, using the same mug you used for the blueberries. If you prefer a thicker juice, reduce the amount of water. Conversely, if you like a thinner consistency, feel free to add a little more water. Adjusting the water to your liking is key to this recipe!
Step 6
Secure the lid on the blender and process for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until all ingredients are smoothly blended. Blend for longer if needed to reach your desired consistency. Your refreshing and delicious lemon blueberry juice will be ready to enjoy!
