Main Ingredients- 100g fresh aloe vera (use only the inner flesh, after removing the skin)
Dressing Ingredients- 1 Tbsp (Ts) vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp (Ts) sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 Tbsp (Ts) vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp (Ts) sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Cut the cleaned aloe vera into bite-sized pieces, about 1.5-2 cm. Slicing them to a moderate thickness, rather than too thin, will help maintain their crisp texture and prevent them from becoming mushy.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine 1 Tbsp of vinegar, 1/2 Tbsp of sugar, and 1 pinch of salt. Whisk well until the sugar and salt are completely dissolved to create a delicious tangy dressing. Feel free to add a little chili powder or minced garlic to your preference.
Step 3
Add the prepared dressing to the sliced aloe vera. Gently toss to ensure the dressing is evenly distributed. Be careful not to mix too vigorously, as this can mash the aloe vera, compromising its pleasant crispness.
