Cooking Instructions

Step 1

[Making Creamy Scrambled Eggs] First, crack 3 fresh eggs into a bowl. Add 1/2 teaspoon of fine salt and 1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar. Whisk gently until well combined. : ) For a richer flavor and creamier texture, add milk, roughly half the amount of your eggs, and mix well.

Step 2

Melt butter in a heated pan over low to medium heat – avoid high heat. Pour in the whisked egg mixture. As the eggs begin to cook, gently push and fold them with a fork or spatula, creating soft curds. Keep them moving to prevent sticking to the pan. Once cooked to your desired consistency, remove from heat and serve on a plate. Using milk will result in a moister and softer texture!

Step 3

[Preparing Homemade Wedge Fries] Wash and peel 2 medium potatoes. Cut them into wedge shapes, about bite-sized. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for about 10 minutes to remove excess starch, which helps them become crispier when cooked.

Step 4

After soaking, rinse the potatoes under cold water and pat them completely dry with paper towels. Ensuring they are dry prevents oil splattering. Place the dried potato wedges into a resealable plastic bag. Add about 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Seal the bag and shake it vigorously to coat all the potato wedges evenly with oil.

Step 5

Pour the oiled potato wedges into the air fryer basket and spread them out in a single layer. Sprinkle generously with herbed salt, dried basil, and dried parsley for added flavor. The herbs will enhance the potato’s taste beautifully.

Step 6

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F). Air fry the potatoes for 15 minutes. Then, carefully remove the basket, flip the wedges, and air fry for another 10 minutes. Your homemade wedge fries, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, will be ready! You won’t need to buy them from outside anymore. #HomemadeWedgeFries #HealthySnack

Step 7

[Making the Energizing Green Smoothie] Now, let’s make a green smoothie that’s both healthy and delicious! You’ll need 2 fresh kale leaves, 1 crisp apple, and a splash of lemon juice to taste. Lemon juice adds a refreshing tang, so feel free to adjust it to your preference. For a cold drink, add 5-6 ice cubes.

Step 8

Combine the kale, apple, lemon juice (if using), and ice cubes in a blender. Add water gradually, a little at a time, until you reach your desired smoothie consistency. Be careful not to add too much water, as it can make the smoothie too thin. Blend until all ingredients are smooth and well combined. Enjoy your refreshing and nutrient-packed kale apple smoothie immediately while it’s cold!
