  • 100g Cheese Buldak Steak (or similar spicy cheese chicken steak)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all your ingredients before you begin. Wash the potatoes and onion thoroughly. If your steaks are frozen, ensure they are thawed.

Step 2

Thinly slice the potatoes into strips. Place the sliced potatoes in a pan, add 3 tablespoons of water, cover, and cook over medium-low heat until the potatoes are tender (about 5-7 minutes). This steaming method helps them cook evenly.

Step 3

Once the potatoes are almost cooked, sprinkle a pinch of salt over them for seasoning. Adjust the amount of salt according to your preference.

Step 4

Continue to stir-fry the potatoes over medium heat until most of the water has evaporated. Browning the potatoes slightly will enhance their flavor.

Step 5

When the potatoes are sufficiently cooked, turn off the heat temporarily. Generously drizzle in olive oil. Olive oil adds wonderful flavor and helps prevent sticking.

Step 6

Add the thinly sliced onion to the pan with the potatoes. Mix everything together and stir-fry until the onion becomes translucent and slightly softened.

Step 7

Cut the Gwangyang Bulgogi Steak and Cheese Buldak Steak into bite-sized pieces (slice them lengthwise). Add 2 tablespoons of water to the bottom of the pan, then add the cut steaks. Stir-fry over medium heat, ensuring the steaks don’t stick to the pan.

Step 8

Cook the steaks, allowing their juices to mingle with the other ingredients. Use a spatula to occasionally flip the ingredients from the bottom of the pan, ensuring everything cooks evenly.

Step 9

Once the potatoes and steaks are cooked through and well combined, turn off the heat. Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds and chopped scallions over the top for garnish. Enjoy your delicious and hearty stir-fry while it’s warm!
