Main Ingredients- 300g leftover fried chicken meat
- 100g nacho cheese sauce
- 2 fresh Korean green chilies (Cheongyang peppers)
- 100g mozzarella cheese
- 10 slices of baguette
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, debone the leftover fried chicken and finely chop the meat. You can use a knife or shred it with your hands. If children will be eating it, chop it even finer for easier consumption.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the finely chopped chicken meat, nacho cheese sauce, and minced Korean green chilies. Removing the seeds from the chilies before mincing will control the heat. Mix everything thoroughly with a spatula or spoon until well combined. Ensuring the chicken and cheese sauce are evenly distributed is key.
Step 3
Arrange the sliced baguette pieces on an oven tray or a plate suitable for an air fryer. Leave some space between the slices so they don’t overlap, which helps them crisp up evenly.
Step 4
Generously spread the chicken and cheese mixture onto each baguette slice, covering it slightly to the edges for extra flavor when baked. Finally, top each with a good amount of mozzarella cheese, ready to melt into gooey deliciousness.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for about 15 minutes, or until the mozzarella cheese is golden brown and bubbly, and the baguette is toasted and crisp. If using an air fryer, cook at 180°C (350°F) for about 10-12 minutes, checking halfway to prevent burning. Enjoy immediately while warm for the best taste!
