Super Speedy Tteokbokki Using Store-Bought Bulgogi Sauce!
Tteokbokki made with convenient, ready-to-use bulgogi sauce. This recipe is perfect for busy days when you want a delicious, flavorful meal in minutes. The sweet and savory bulgogi flavor perfectly complements the chewy rice cakes!
Main Ingredients
- 10 rice cakes (tteokbokki tteok), about 100g
- 1 sheet of flat fish cake (eomuk)
- A small amount of green onion
- 2.5 Tbsp store-bought bulgogi sauce (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the rice cakes under running water. Cut the flat fish cake into bite-sized pieces. If your rice cakes are hard, soaking them in water beforehand will help them soften faster.
Step 2
In a pan, combine the rinsed rice cakes and cut fish cake. Add 2.5 tablespoons of store-bought bulgogi sauce. Feel free to adjust the amount of sauce based on your preference for sweetness and saltiness, as different brands can vary.
Step 3
Pour in 1 paper cup of water (approximately 200ml) and bring to a boil over high heat. Cook until the rice cakes are soft and the sauce has thickened. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 4
Finally, thinly slice the green onion and stir it into the tteokbokki. Give it a quick mix, and your delicious Bulgogi Sauce Tteokbokki is ready to enjoy! Serve immediately while hot.
