  • 6 Morning Buns (or soft rolls)
  • 6 Slices of Ham
  • 6 Strips of Bacon
  • 6 Slices of 3-Layer Cheese (Namyang)
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Handful of Lettuce
  • 1 Tbsp Butter

Let’s get started by preparing our ingredients for this delicious morning toast! First, slice the morning buns in half horizontally. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Toast the cut sides of the buns until they are golden brown and slightly crispy. This step adds wonderful flavor and texture. Wash all your vegetables thoroughly. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces with your hands. Thinly slice the green bell pepper into strips. Slice the cucumber thinly on an angle. For the onion, slice it thinly and then soak it in cold water for about 5 minutes to remove its strong flavor and make it milder. Lightly grill the ham and bacon slices on the pan until slightly crispy; this enhances their savory taste. Cut the cheese slices in half if desired, depending on your preference.

Now, let’s assemble the toast layers just like in the picture! Start with the bottom half of a toasted bun. Layer it generously with fresh lettuce. Next, add a slice of savory ham. Follow with the thinly sliced onion. Arrange the cucumber slices neatly on top. Then, place the lightly cooked bacon. Now for the star ingredient: add a generous slice of Namyang 3-layer cheese. Finish with a layer of green bell pepper and another handful of lettuce to top it off. Place the top half of the morning bun over the fillings. To keep everything neatly in place, insert a toothpick or small skewer through the toast.
