Ingredients
  • 10 fresh button mushrooms
  • 1/3 onion
  • 1/4 carrot
  • 0.5 bell pepper (any color)
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • A little black pepper
  • 1 handful mozzarella cheese (adjust to taste)
  • A little parsley flakes (for garnish)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Gently wash the fresh button mushrooms under running water and pat them dry. Carefully twist and remove the stems. This makes it easier to stuff them later.

Step 2

Finely mince the onion, carrot, and bell pepper, discarding seeds. Also, finely chop the bacon. Mincing the vegetables finely will ensure they cook evenly and have a pleasant texture when mixed with the mushroom filling.

Step 3

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a heated pan over medium-low heat. Add the minced onion, carrot, bell pepper, and bacon. Sauté until the vegetables become translucent and the bacon is lightly browned.
