Making Baby’s Delicious Bean Porridge
Let’s make a nutritious bean porridge using protein- and fiber-rich beans.
Ingredients- 4x concentrated rice (cooked firm) 80g
- Boiled beans 160g
- Water 160ml (formula water)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, soak the beans you will use for at least 1 hour. Then, cook the soaked beans using the rice cooker’s white rice function. Cooking in a rice cooker prevents burning and ensures the beans become tender.
Step 2
Transfer the well-cooked beans (about 160g) to a blender and grind them into a fine paste. Grinding them finely is important so that the baby can easily chew and digest them.
Step 3
Add the finely ground beans to a pot along with the 4x concentrated rice (firm cooked rice) and the formula water (or filtered water) (160ml). Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
Step 4
Approximately 3 days’ worth of bean porridge (about 140g per serving) is now ready! This delicious and nutritious porridge is perfect for your baby.
