  • Egg wash (1 egg beaten with a little water)

  • A little water (for moistening bread)

First, carefully trim off the firm crusts from all four sides of the bread slices using a knife. Using only the soft inner part of the bread will result in a more delicious toast.

Lightly mist both sides of the trimmed bread slices with water using a spray bottle. Let them sit for a moment until they become moist and pliable. Once softened, use a rolling pin to gently flatten the bread, reducing its thickness. Prepare all four slices this way.

Spread a generous amount of Nutella in the center of one slice of bread. Brush the edges with the egg wash. The egg wash acts as an adhesive, helping to seal the bread when folded. Fold the bread in half to create a triangle shape, pressing the edges firmly to seal.

For the next toast, let’s make a rectangular version! Spread crunchy peanut butter and your favorite jam onto another slice of bread. Apply egg wash to the edges, fold the bread in half to form a rectangle, and press firmly to seal the shape. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
