Fruits & Vegetables
  • 1 Apple
  • 2 Medium Potatoes
  • 1/4 Carrot
  • 1/2 Bell Pepper (using various colors makes it visually appealing)
  • 10 Quail Eggs
  • 2 Plums
  • 1 bunch Shine Muscat grapes

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare to wash all the fruits and vegetables. Dissolve some fruit wash in water, soak the fruits for a moment, then rinse them thoroughly under running water. This ensures you can enjoy them without worrying about pesticide residues.

Step 2

Separate the sweet and crisp Shine Muscat grapes from their stems and wash them carefully. They are seedless, making them easy to eat, and kids absolutely love them.

Step 3

Boil the quail eggs in water until fully cooked. Once boiled, rinse them in cold water and peel them cleanly. Dice the apple and imitation crab sticks into approximately 1.5 cm cubes. Cutting them too small can cause them to mush, so maintaining a good size preserves their texture.

Step 4

Carrots are firmer than other vegetables or fruits, so it’s best to dice them slightly smaller than the other ingredients. Wash the potatoes, peel them, and then dice them. Place the diced potatoes in a pot of water and boil until they are cooked but still slightly firm. Be careful not to overcook them, as they can become mushy; they should be about 70-80% cooked when you can slightly pierce them with a fork. Let them cool slightly after boiling before dicing, or dice them right after they reach the desired tenderness to prevent them from falling apart.

Step 5

In a large bowl, combine all the prepared ingredients: apple, potatoes, carrot, bell pepper, plums, Shine Muscat grapes, and boiled quail eggs. Add about 5-6 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Gently mix everything together, being careful not to stir too vigorously, until all ingredients are evenly coated with mayonnaise.

Step 6

Transfer the deliciously mixed fruit salad to a pretty serving dish. The creamy mayonnaise, combined with the refreshing sweetness of the fruits, creates an irresistible flavor that will have you finishing the entire plate! Enjoy this nostalgic fruit salad, perfect as an appetizing starter or a satisfying meal.
