Today, we’re transforming this nostalgic treat into a delightful Dalgona Latte, a perfect blend of sweet and slightly bitter flavors. Ingredients
  • 4 pieces of store-bought Dalgona (Recommended: crispy with fine bubbles)
  • 2 tsp Instant Coffee (Adjust quantity to your taste)
  • 1/3 cup Hot Water (approx. 60ml)
  • 1 cup Cold Milk (approx. 200ml)
  • 12 small Ice Cubes (Adjust quantity to your taste)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare your Dalgona. Store-bought Dalgona is a delicious snack on its own, but for this recipe, we’ll be using it as a topping. Dalgona with fine, even bubbles will look beautiful and taste even richer when it sits atop your latte. If you have any leftover, feel free to enjoy it as a snack!

Step 2

Next, let’s prepare the coffee. Measure out 2 teaspoons of instant coffee. If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, you can increase the amount, or reduce it if you like it milder. The most important thing is to adjust it to your personal preference.

Step 3

Pour 1/3 cup (approx. 60ml) of hot water into the instant coffee and stir until it’s fully dissolved. Just stir until the coffee granules melt completely without clumping. The amount of water is sufficient as long as the coffee dissolves; be careful not to add too much, as it can dilute the rich coffee flavor.

Step 4

Now, get your ice ready to make the latte nice and cold. Small, cube-shaped ice works well in latte glasses. Prepare 12 cubes, but feel free to adjust the amount of ice according to your liking.

Step 5

It’s time to assemble the latte! First, fill your serving glass with 6 ice cubes. Then, pour in 1 cup (approx. 200ml) of cold milk. About the size of a paper cup is a good measure. After that, carefully pour the prepared coffee mixture over the milk. Finally, add the remaining 6 ice cubes on top to keep it extra chilled.

Step 6

This is the final step. Gently place the 4 pieces of prepared Dalgona on top of the latte. Arrange them so they rest beautifully on the surface, perhaps slightly angled against the glass. The sweet Dalgona will create a special flavor profile as it mingles with the coffee and milk.
