- 1 packet of Ramyeon (any flavor works)
- 8 Tbsp sugar

Step 1
Start by preparing one packet of Ramyeon. Any flavor will do! Keep the seasoning packet aside as we won’t be using it for this recipe.

Without opening the Ramyeon bag, use your palms to crush the noodles inside. Aim for a chunky texture rather than fine crumbs, as this will give you a more satisfying bite.

Transfer the crushed Ramyeon noodles into a bowl. Get ready to create this delightful snack!

Place the bowl with the crushed noodles in the microwave and heat for 2 minutes. Repeat this for another 2 minutes, for a total of 4 minutes. This step helps to make the noodles extra crispy.

Next, heat a pan over low heat. Add 4 tablespoons of sugar and let it melt slowly. Once it starts to melt, gradually add the remaining 4 tablespoons of sugar, stirring constantly to prevent clumping.

Continue to melt the sugar until it turns a light golden brown. Be careful not to overcook, as burnt sugar can taste bitter.

Once the sugar syrup is ready, carefully remove the crispy Ramyeon noodles from the microwave and add them to the pan with the melted sugar.

Turn off the heat. Quickly stir and mix the Ramyeon noodles with the sugar syrup until they are evenly coated. Working quickly while the syrup is warm is key to ensuring the noodles stay crispy.
