Similarly, julienne the onion and carrot into uniform strips. Cutting the vegetables to a consistent thickness will ensure they cook evenly and have a pleasant texture.

2. Place the julienned cucumber, onion, and carrot into a microwave-safe container, either separately or together. Microwave for 2-3 minutes until lightly cooked.
