Ingredients
  • 100g Plain Yogurt (recommend low sugar content)
  • 50g Dried Mango Slices

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Since the dried mango slices release natural sweetness, it’s best to choose a plain yogurt with low sugar content and no added sweeteners. This allows you to fully appreciate the pure flavor of the mango and the fresh taste of the yogurt.

Step 2

First, use scissors or a knife to cut the dried mango slices into bite-sized pieces (about 1-2 cm). Mango is a fruit often called the ‘king of tropical fruits.’ It’s packed with vitamins A, C, and D, and is particularly rich in carotene, making it excellent for skin beauty, health, and even dieting!

Step 3

Pour about 70g of the 100g plain yogurt into your chosen bowl or cup first. Layering the yogurt at the bottom helps stabilize the ingredients as you add the mango.

Step 4

Now, arrange the cut dried mango slices evenly on top of the yogurt. This is where the mango’s sweet flavor begins to infuse into the yogurt.

Step 5

Finally, pour the remaining 30g of yogurt over the dried mango. Ensure the mango pieces are completely covered by the yogurt. Mixing them well is crucial for allowing the flavors to meld together beautifully. This step ensures the mango’s taste will deeply permeate the yogurt as it chills.

Step 6

Place the yogurt with dried mango into an airtight container or cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or preferably overnight. This ample chilling time allows the yogurt to thicken and the mango’s flavor and aroma to fully infuse, creating a rich and delicious ‘Kazuha Yogurt.’ Enjoy your cool and healthy treat the next morning!
