Main Ingredients
- 3 slices of bread
- 2 strips of bacon
Cheese Dip & Butter Sauce
- 2 slices of butter (approx. 20g)
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp sugar (brown sugar recommended)
- 3 slices of cheese
- 4 tsp milk (approx. 20ml)
- 2 slices of butter (approx. 20g)
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp sugar (brown sugar recommended)
- 3 slices of cheese
- 4 tsp milk (approx. 20ml)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, to make the butter sauce, place 2 slices of butter in a microwave-safe dish and microwave for about 9 seconds until softened. Be careful not to overheat, as it can burn!
Step 2
Add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of sugar (brown sugar or raw sugar adds more flavor) to the softened butter and mix well until smooth to create a delicious butter sauce.
Step 3
Spread the prepared butter sauce evenly on one slice of bread. Cut the remaining two slices of bread into bite-sized squares.
Step 4
Place the bread slice with the butter sauce on a plate. Then, layer the two square-cut bread pieces on top. Layering like this will give you a richer texture.
Step 5
Now, spread the remaining butter sauce evenly over the layered bread. Applying enough sauce will make the bread moister and tastier.
Step 6
Finally, place the last slice of bread on top and arrange the 2 strips of bacon, cut into pieces, over it. Adding bacon enhances the flavor with a touch of saltiness, making the dish even more satisfying.
Step 7
Place the assembled bread in the air fryer basket and cook at 170°C (340°F) for about 6 minutes. The bread will become golden brown, and the bacon will cook through. Adjust the cooking time according to your air fryer’s specifications.
Step 8
Next, let’s make the delicious cheese dip! Tear the 3 slices of cheese into small pieces or place them in a microwave-safe bowl. Add 4 teaspoons (approx. 20ml) of milk and microwave in 30-second intervals, for a total of three times, stirring in between to check if the cheese is melting. Be careful not to overheat; the total cooking time should be under 1 minute and 30 seconds to prevent burning.
Step 9
Generously pour the melted cheese dip sauce over the bread after removing it from the air fryer. Pouring it while the bread is warm allows the cheese to flow and meld beautifully with the bread. Enjoy your delicious, savory cheese-dipped bread!
