Main Ingredients- 3 leaves of kohlrabi cabbage (regular cabbage can be substituted)
- 200-250ml low-fat milk
- 10g probiotic powder
- 1/2 baked sweet potato (or half a banana)
- 10-12 nuts (cashews, almonds, pumpkin seeds, etc., to your preference)
Additional Tip- 1 soft-boiled egg (for a satisfying breakfast pairing)
- 1 soft-boiled egg (for a satisfying breakfast pairing)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare fresh kohlrabi cabbage leaves. If kohlrabi cabbage is unavailable, regular cabbage can be used as a substitute. Ensure the leaves are fresh and vibrant.
Step 2
Gently separate the cabbage leaves one by one. Submerge them in water with a splash of vinegar for about 10 minutes to help remove any residual pesticides. Afterward, rinse them thoroughly under running water and pat them dry.
Step 3
Once the leaves are dry, tear them into bite-sized pieces (approximately 3-4 cm). (Note: It’s recommended to consume no more than 10 palm-sized cabbage leaves per day.)
Step 4
Measure out 10g of probiotic powder. (I personally used MPRO.) If you don’t have a baked sweet potato, half a ripe banana can be used to add natural sweetness and creaminess. Select your favorite nuts, such as cashews, almonds, or pumpkin seeds, and measure out about 10-12. Pour in 200 to 250ml of low-fat milk, adjusting the amount to your liking.
Step 5
Combine all the prepared ingredients in a blender: the torn cabbage leaves, baked sweet potato or banana, nuts, milk, and probiotic powder. Blend for at least one minute, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Ensure all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Step 6
This kohlrabi cabbage latte yields approximately 300ml, which is a generous serving for one person. Pour it into a glass and enjoy the smooth, nutty aroma.
Step 7
Thanks to the addition of nuts and sweet potato, this latte has a rich, nutty flavor that’s distinct from regular vegetable juices. Its smooth texture is incredibly appealing.
Step 8
Enjoy this kohlrabi cabbage latte as a hearty breakfast, perhaps paired with a soft-boiled egg. It provides satisfaction, nutrients, and the benefit of a healthy diet! Wishing you a healthy and wonderful day. ^^
