This Vienna sausage and vegetable stir-fry is a universally loved dish! Main Ingredients- 300g Vienna sausages (your preference)
- 1/2 medium potato
- 1/2 medium onion
- 1/8 small carrot
- 1 chili pepper (optional, for added spice)

Step 1
First, prepare the vegetables for your stir-fry by cutting them into bite-sized pieces. Peel the 1/2 potato and slice it thinly about 0.5cm thick, or dice it into small cubes. Slicing the potato thinly ensures it cooks quickly, making the dish even tastier. Slice the 1/2 onion into strips, and thinly slice or finely chop the 1/8 carrot. If you enjoy a bit of heat, finely chop the chili pepper. (You can also use a milder pepper.)
Step 2
Prepare 300g of the main ingredient: Vienna sausages. You can score them for easier eating or leave them whole for a fun presentation.

Make decorative cuts on the Vienna sausages. Making 2-3 diagonal slits will allow them to bloom prettily as they cook and absorb the sauce wonderfully. You can also cut them into fun shapes like animals or stars for an extra special touch that kids will love.

Heat 1.5 Tbsp of cooking oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the thinly sliced potatoes first and stir-fry gently. Cooking the potatoes first helps them absorb less oil, resulting in a lighter dish. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the potatoes begin to turn translucent.

Once the potatoes are partially cooked, add the prepared onion, carrot, and chili pepper (if using) to the pan. Stir-fry everything together for about 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and translucent.

Now for the flavor boost! Add 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce to the side of the pan and stir-fry it with the vegetables. Mixing the oyster sauce evenly with the ingredients will enhance the overall aroma and add a delightful savory depth.
