Tofu sausages are made from tofu, offering a much milder and softer texture compared to regular sausages. They are particularly great as a snack for children. In this recipe, we’re using two varieties: plain and cheese-flavored, for a richer taste experience. The cheese tofu sausage adds a subtle, savory cheesiness.

Tofu sausages are not as firm as regular ones, so be careful when peeling or slicing them. Slice them into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 1.5 cm thick. Prepare them in a size that children can easily eat in one bite.

Crack 4 eggs into a wide bowl. Add 2-3 pinches of salt. Whisk the eggs thoroughly with a whisk or fork until the whites and yolks are well combined. Season lightly with salt.

Coat the thawed store-bought seafood patties evenly with the beaten egg mixture. Dip them back and forth to ensure they are well-coated on all sides. This step helps to make the patties crispy when pan-fried.
