Make this whole pork neck roast, a weekend favorite for the whole family, easily in your air fryer. It’s perfect as a delightful meal or a satisfying snack with drinks!

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Gently pat the fresh pork neck roast with paper towels to remove any surface blood. This step helps ensure a clean and delicious meat flavor without any gamey taste.
Step 2
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Scoring the whole pork neck roast with a knife will significantly improve heat penetration, allowing the meat to cook more evenly and faster. Aim for deep scores about 0.5 cm apart.

Place the scored pork neck roast into the air fryer basket. Pork neck naturally has a good amount of fat, so there’s no need to add extra oil. Generously season both sides of the pork neck with black pepper and pink salt, ensuring an even coating. Pink salt adds a richer flavor than regular salt.

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 5 minutes. Once preheated, place the seasoned pork neck inside. Cook at 200°C for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, carefully flip the pork neck over and cook the other side for another 25 minutes at the same temperature. The total cooking time will be around 50 minutes.

If you’re adding vegetables like mushrooms, place them in the air fryer during the last 10 minutes of cooking, after you’ve flipped the meat. Mushrooms can lose their texture if overcooked, so 10 minutes is usually sufficient.
