Ingredients- 12 jalapeños or green chilies (slightly spicy is key for flavor)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- 12 strips of bacon
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded or finely diced)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder or minced garlic
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 12 toothpicks (optional, for securing bacon)

First, slice the jalapeños (or green chilies) in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the seeds and membranes from the inside using a spoon or knife. Removing the seeds helps control the spice level and makes filling easier. (If you enjoy extra heat, you can leave some seeds in.)
