Ingredients

  • Passion Fruit Syrup 45ml (homemade or store-bought)
  • Fresh Ice Cubes
  • Cold Water 60ml
  • Hot Water 60ml
  • Jasmine Oolong Tea Bags 2
  • Cooked Black Tapioca Pearls
  • A few fresh Mint Leaves for garnish (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Begin by preparing the tea base. In a small teapot or heatproof glass, place 2 jasmine oolong tea bags. Pour 60ml of hot water over them and let steep for 3 minutes to extract the full aroma and flavor. Remove the tea bags and set aside.

Step 2

Choose a clear glass for your bubble tea. Pour 45ml of passion fruit syrup (either homemade or store-bought) into the bottom of the glass. This syrup is the foundation for the tea’s signature sweet and tangy taste.

Step 3

Fill the glass generously with fresh ice cubes. The ice will ensure your drink is refreshingly cold and also adds an attractive visual element.

Step 4

Next, pour 60ml of cold water into the glass over the ice. Gently pour the steeped jasmine oolong tea on top. Pouring the tea last helps create beautiful layers in the drink.

Step 5

Finally, add a generous portion of the pre-cooked chewy black tapioca pearls to the drink. If desired, garnish with a few fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of freshness and visual appeal. Your delicious homemade passion fruit bubble tea is now ready to be enjoyed!
