Recipe Info

  • Category : Side dish
  • Ingredient Category : Pork
  • Occasion : Everyday
  • Cooking : Others
  • Servings : 1 serving
  • Cooking Time : Within 30 minutes
  • Difficulty : Beginner

Ingredients

  • 300g Pork tenderloin
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour (for coating)
  • 4 Eggs (for coating)
  • 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs (for coating)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, cut the pork tenderloin into bite-sized pieces that are suitable for your child. Then, gently pound the meat with a rolling pin or the back of a knife to flatten it slightly. Make shallow cuts across the surface; this helps the cutlet absorb seasonings better and cook evenly, resulting in a beautiful shape.

Step 1

Step 2

For seasoning, since this is for a child, use only a pinch of salt and pepper. Overly seasoned food can be difficult for children to eat, so aim to enhance the meat’s natural flavor with minimal seasoning.

Step 2

Step 3

Prepare the ingredients for the cutlet’s coating in order. It’s convenient to have the flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs laid out in separate shallow dishes or trays for easy handling in the next step.

Step 3

Step 4

Now, let’s coat the meat. First, thoroughly coat the seasoned pork pieces with flour on all sides. Next, dip them into the beaten egg mixture, ensuring they are fully covered. Finally, press the pieces firmly into the panko breadcrumbs, making sure the coating is thick and even. Gently pressing the breadcrumbs onto the meat helps create an extra crispy texture when cooked.

Step 4

Step 5

These homemade pork cutlets are delicious immediately after cooking. However, if you make more than you can eat at once, we recommend wrapping them individually and freezing them. You can easily take them out to cook whenever you want, making them a fantastic option for baby food or snacks.

Step 5

Step 6

If you want a crispy texture without the worry of deep-frying, try using an air fryer. Arrange the prepared cutlets in the air fryer basket and lightly brush or spray the surface with cooking oil. This will help them achieve a golden-brown and crispy finish.

Step 6

Step 7

We recommend cooking them in the air fryer at 185°C (365°F) for 15 minutes per side, for a total of 30 minutes. Remember to flip them halfway through to ensure even cooking. (Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model and the thickness of the cutlets.)

Step 7

Step 8

By air-frying these healthy, homemade cutlets until golden brown, you’ll create a dish your child will absolutely love! Serving these warm cutlets with a dip of ketchup makes for a delightful mealtime experience for your little one. ^^
