Essential Ingredients- Plenty of Dark/Milk/White Chocolate (approx. 200-300g)
- Stick Biscuits (Pocky, pretzel sticks, or your preferred type – enough for your desired quantity)
- Assorted Sprinkles, Sugar Powder, Small Chocolate Pieces for Decoration
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, gently melt the chocolate using a double boiler. Fill a wide pan with water, bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat. Place a heat-resistant bowl with the chocolate over the simmering water and stir until smooth. This prevents burning or sticking. At the same time, line a baking tray with parchment paper or plastic wrap, preparing a surface for coating the biscuit sticks.
Step 2
Dip about two-thirds of each biscuit stick into the melted chocolate. Be careful not to dip too deep to avoid breakage. Alternatively, you can use a spoon to spread the chocolate evenly over the sticks. Place the coated biscuit sticks neatly onto the prepared parchment paper.
Step 3
Before the chocolate hardens, decorate with your chosen sprinkles, sugar powder, or small chocolate pieces. Colorful sprinkles are especially fun for decorating with children! Let your creativity shine with various shapes and colors.
Step 4
Once decorated, place the Pepero in the refrigerator to chill and harden completely. This should take about 15-20 minutes. While they are setting, you can carefully wrap each one in pretty packaging, making them perfect for gifting.
Step 5
Enjoy your homemade Pepero by gifting them to loved ones or savoring them as a sweet snack! Make special occasions even happier with your handmade treats.
