Homemade Peach & Greek Yogurt Bowl
Fresh Peach Greek Yogurt Delight
This delightful dish has recently gained popularity on TV! If you’re curious, it’s time to make it yourself! Enjoy the perfect blend of sweet peaches, thick Greek yogurt, and crunchy granola.
Ingredients- 1 fresh peach (ripe and firm is best)
- 3 Tbsp thick Greek yogurt
- 5 Tbsp crunchy granola
- 1.5 Tbsp maple syrup
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Gently wash the peach under running water, sprinkling baking soda on it and rubbing lightly. This helps remove any residue or pesticides, ensuring it’s perfectly clean for consumption.
Step 2
Carefully cut off the stem end of the peach. Then, peel the skin off completely. Slice the peach in half and use a spoon to gently scoop out and remove the pit. Be delicate to maintain the peach’s shape.
Step 3
Fill the hollowed-out center of the peach, where the pit was, generously with the thick Greek yogurt. Feel free to adjust the amount of yogurt to your preference.
Step 4
Prepare a beautiful serving plate. Spread the crunchy granola evenly on the bottom of the plate. The granola will add a delightful texture contrast to the creamy yogurt and soft peach.
Step 5
Carefully place the peach, now filled with Greek yogurt, in the center of the plate atop the granola. Drizzle the sweet maple syrup evenly over the peach to finish. You can substitute with honey or agave syrup if preferred.
Step 6
For the best flavor and texture, chill the prepared peach in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully. It’s a perfect, healthy dessert or breakfast option!
